Leo wasn’t just a cat—he was family. A majestic Norwegian Forest Cat with a thick coat, calm eyes, and a presence that filled every room. He didn’t meow often. He didn’t need to. He simply walked into a space, and the whole house seemed to slow down for him.

But as he grew, so did a problem I hadn’t anticipated: nothing was built for him. Every scratching post I bought was either too short, too narrow, or too flimsy. They wobbled. They tipped. They fell apart. One even cracked under his weight while he was climbing it. He didn’t get hurt, but he stopped using them. Instead, he clawed at my wooden chairs. My walls. My couch.

I was frustrated. But more than that, I felt guilty.

Leo deserved better.

So I stopped searching—and started designing. After months of sketching, prototyping, and testing with Leo by my side, we created the scratcher he finally loved. 50 inches tall. 7.3 inches thick. 36 pounds of pure, stable strength.

Made from real wood, wrapped in natural sisal, and finished with the simplicity and elegance of high-end furniture—this wasn’t just a scratching post. It was a statement.

Leo spent hours on that post. Scratching, climbing, lounging on the top like a lion surveying his domain. He was proud. Confident. At peace.
